This Privacy Policy explains how AdaptiT Pro ("we", "us", or "our"), operating from Brampton, Ontario, Canada, collects, uses, and protects information in connection with your use of adaptit.pro and all related tools and services (the "Service").

This policy is designed to comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) of Canada, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union, the Privacy Act 1988 of Australia, and other applicable privacy laws.

1. Our Core Privacy Principle

AdaptiT Pro is built on a privacy-first architecture. The resume data you enter into our tools is stored exclusively in your own browser's local storage and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers. When you close your browser or clear your local storage, that data is gone. We cannot access it, retrieve it, or share it.

This means the most sensitive information you provide — your work history, contact details, education, and referees — never leaves your device unless you explicitly download it as a PDF or DOCX file.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

Purchase email address. When you complete a premium purchase through Stripe, we receive your email address from Stripe for the sole purpose of activating your premium session and sending a purchase confirmation. This email is stored in association with your purchase record.

Support communications. If you contact us at support@adaptit.pro or contact@adaptit.pro, we retain your email address and the content of your communication in order to respond to you. We do not use this information for marketing purposes.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to collect anonymised information about how visitors use our website. This includes pages visited, time on site, approximate geographic location (country/city level), device type, and browser type. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information. We do not use Google Analytics to identify individual users. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

Google AdSense. We display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings. For more information, see Google's advertising policies.

Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically records standard server log information including IP addresses, browser type, referring URLs, and timestamps when you access our website. These logs are used for security and operational purposes and are not used to identify individuals.

Stripe payment data. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. When you make a purchase, Stripe collects your payment card details, billing information, and transaction data. AdaptiT Pro never receives, stores, or has access to your full card number or payment credentials. Please review Stripe's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your payment data.
