AdaptiT Pro provides a free and premium AI-powered resume and CV builder accessible at adaptit.pro. The Service includes country-specific resume builders for Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and the European Union, as well as supplementary tools including cover letter generators, reference letter generators, interview simulators, and career guidance tools.

The free tier allows users to build and download a PDF resume at no cost. Premium features — including AI-powered rewriting, job description tailoring, DOCX export, and letter generation — are available as one-time purchases per country tool.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are accessing the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. Accounts and Registration

The free tier of the Service does not require account creation. Your resume data is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers unless you complete a premium purchase.

When you complete a purchase, we collect your email address solely for the purpose of activating your premium session and providing purchase confirmation. We do not create persistent user accounts unless explicitly stated.

4. Premium Purchases

Premium features are sold as one-time lifetime purchases per individual country tool. There are no recurring subscriptions. Prices are displayed in the local currency of each tool:

  • UK CV Builder: GBP £39
  • Australian Resume Builder: AUD $57
  • Europass CV Builder: EUR €39

All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. AdaptiT Pro does not store or have access to your payment card information at any time.

Upon successful payment, premium features are activated for your browser session. You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address used at purchase in order to recover access if needed.

5. Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all premium purchases. Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details, including how to request a refund and any applicable conditions.

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses the Google Gemini API to generate resume content, cover letters, reference letters, and career suggestions. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated content is produced automatically and may contain inaccuracies, errors, or content that requires review and editing before use.
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing all AI-generated content before submitting it to any employer, institution, or third party.
  • AdaptiT Pro makes no warranty that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, suitable for any particular purpose, or will result in employment outcomes.
  • AI-generated content is not legal, financial, medical, or professional advice of any kind.
  • You must not use AI-generated content to misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or identity to any employer or institution.

7. User Responsibilities

You agree that you will not use the Service to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in any resume, CV, or letter generated through the Service.
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation, including employment laws, anti-discrimination laws, or data protection laws.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, copy, or replicate any part of the Service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any manner that could harm AdaptiT Pro or third parties.

8. Intellectual Property

All original content on the Service — including but not limited to the website design, text, graphics, code, tools, and methodology — is the proprietary property of AdaptiT Pro and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain full ownership of the personal information and content you input into the Service. By using the Service, you grant AdaptiT Pro a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process your input solely for the purpose of generating your requested output within your active session.

The AdaptiT Pro name and branding are unregistered trade marks of AdaptiT Pro. You may not use our name, logo, or branding without prior written consent.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own terms and privacy policies:

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Google Gemini API — AI content generation
  • Google Analytics — website analytics
  • Google AdSense — advertising

AdaptiT Pro is not responsible for the practices, content, or availability of any third-party service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee any specific employment outcome as a result of using the Service.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ADAPTIT PRO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. In any event, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you to AdaptiT Pro in the twelve months preceding the claim, or CAD $100, whichever is greater.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction in Ontario, Canada.

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
